Redecard just signed an agreement with Cabal Brazil to perform capture, processing and financial liquidity of all transactions performed with credit and debt cards of the brand in Brazil. Thus it reinforces the position as a multiple brand company, which now already counts on MasterCard®, MasterCard® Maestro® and Diners Club International®, besides benefits cards, as Ticket, Sodexo, Nutricash, Sorocred, Planvale, Green Card, among others.
"We are very enthusiastic to announce the arrival of a new Brand to our network. The Cabal expansion plans in Brazil are very expressive and certainly will result in excellent opportunities of businesses for our Clients Establishments", declares Henrique Capdeville, Redecard’s Planning and Strategy director.
"The Redecard capillarity will enable us to offer to all the holders of Cabal Cards in the region (holders in Brazil, Argentine, Uruguay and Paraguay) a wide and diversified acceptance network, a fundamental condition for the operation. It is still too soon to forecast on the increase of cards number and gains, but the fact is that Cabal Brand is changing levels, from Local Brand, as it is called by the Brazilian market, to a Bank Brand with excellent coverage and ready to receive new issuers", said Marcos Vinícius Viana Borges, General Superintendent of Cabal Brazil.
Both companies are already working towards the beginning of operations as soon as possible.
Created in January 2000, with head office located at the Federal Capital, Cabal Brazil is a result from the alliance between two important entities of cooperative source, Bancoob - Banco Cooperativo do Brasil (Cooperative Bank of Brazil) and Cabal Cooperativa de Provisión de Servícios Ltda, seated at Buenos Aires – Argentina, proprietor of Cabal Brand created in 1980.
